Board Games Day – Winter 2012

After discussing with a few of the members, we have decided that the best day for board games night is Wednesday. Starting Jan. 11 board games night will be on Wednesday at 6:30pm.

Always make sure to check our Twitter stream to see if we are actually doing gaming that night, since some nights things come up and the event may be cancelled.

Last Board Games Day

Today is the last day we’ll be doing board games day for 2011, so come on down at 6:30 if you want to play! We have a couple new ones in to try out.

We’ll be starting again in January, we’ll be announcing the new date and time in the new year.

Epic Games Day: Nov. 2011

We’re planning an awesome board gaming day for the club on November 26th, everybody is required to come! Well, not really, but we’re part of the games club because we like games and so why not? It’s not like you have anything better to do on a Saturday!

2011-12 Board Gaming

Hello all, and welcome to another year at Concordia! For all those wondering, we are still quite alive and well. We have a few D&D campaigns running (email us if you’d like to join in) and also our open board gaming nights which are taking place every Thursday at 6:30 pm. Anybody who likes board games is encouraged to come down and meet a few of us!

Summer Gaming

We will be continuing our board games night throughout the summer at the same time as always: Tuesdays at 6pm. There will be cases when we won’t be able to run it (keyholders out of town) and while we will try to get somebody to be there, it doesn’t always happen so be sure to consult our mailing list to make sure that we will be there that week. It will be rare that we won’t run the session, but it could happen.

The intro to D&D campaign is going well, although we are still looking for one new member. Feel free to email us if you are interested in joining. The game runs every second Friday at 2pm, the next session will be April 29th.

Office Hours

April 8, 2011

Now that classes have finished, we will no longer be holding office hours. You can still come by during one of the gaming events:
Every Tuesday at 6pm
Every second Friday at 2pm: for April it will be the 15th and the 29th.
Thursday and Friday nights sometimes have gaming. Contact us if you would like to come on one of those nights to see if we will be there or not.

Elections 2011

Election Date Set

March 30, 2011

The date for elections is Tuesday, April 5th at 6pm in the Games Club room (SC-03-11 at Loyola). Come on down if you want to run for a position or if you want to vote.

For those concerned about the future existence of the club, it seems we will no longer have any problems. Our marketing campaigns this year had some success, and we have a lively group of newcomers who joined us this year. The club will live on!

Intro to D&D Campaign

We have an availability or two in our intro to Dungeons and Dragons campaign, if anybody is interested in joining. Preference is given to people who haven’t played before and would like to try it out for the first time, and also to current undergraduate Concordia students.
